"I summoned a Holy Maiden! Not a pig!!"
What awaited her in this New World, where she was summoned, was a series of unexpected situations.
"I'm sorry? Who are you? Why are you yelling at me and telling me what to do?"

On top of that, the rice served here was tasteless and unpalatable.
"I love to eat and cook" Rina said "I'll do it myself. Show me where's the kitchen!"

The meals Rina's prepared captivated the hearts and stomachs everyone, even the King and the Princes.
They can't resist Rina's cooking and her innocent personality.

"If you want a good meal, I'll take care of it!"
Rina begins to enjoy the "slow life" of the other world, with her heart pounding for the beautiful King and the Princes.
"I'm not a professional cook, so there's no need of critics"

Since I wasn't a Saint, I decided to become a cook at the Royal Palace!

Chapter 01: The beginning of the end

---The end always comes so suddenly

"Ugh! Isn't she getting fat again?"

A high school boy purposely raised his voice as he picked up a soccer ball.
Beyond the line that marks the end of the schoolyard, there was a girl nearly out of sight that was going home.

"Oh! My! Is it even possible! ... She's already a pig! What would she become if she gets fatter?"

Through the wire mesh, a classmate, who saw the girl going home said, and they laughed out loud one more time when they saw more clearly her appearance, which was not flattering and not very stylish.

"But isn't there a rumor that she was a very beautiful girl in junior high school?"

"Yes, yes! Naoya even confessed to her, didn't you know?"
"What?? Don't you tell me! Seriously? ... I mean, that is a scam, a scam! Poor Naoya"
"Yeah, I'm not sure he regrets it now but what to do..." he said, frowning as he threw up the ball again.
"If she would still be a beautiful girl, he might have been called a rejected but brave man. However, the reality is very different now."
"It is must be a black mark on his history now. Hahaha!"
"I can hear you." Rina muttered, seemingly unconcerned.

She didn't say it anything because she knew they were right about that her weight wasn't the same as before, but this change wasn't because of stress for keeping a perfect appearance that leaded to a distorted view of herself, a broken heart or something like that, as everybody seemed to think when they saw her.

She used to be a healthy girl, it's true.
Rina used to love cooking delicious and healthy for her family....
But before she knew, the only way she found to stop the pain she felt, as if running away from her past, was eating... overeating.

Since I wasn't a Saint, I decided to become a cook at the Royal Palace!

    Chapter 02: Pigs' summoning ceremony?

    "Ohhhh!!!!"

Rina slowly opened her eyes at the sound of cheers and found herself lying in a poorly illuminated room.

--It's very dark and I'm not sure what happened... but apparently I'm lying on a cold floor right now, I think it's marble.
Where is this? Am I in heaven or hell...?

"The summoning was a success this time!"

After someone... a man said that, more loud cheers were heard.

-- Who is he? Why is he yelling? Is he okay?

Rina tried to accustom her eyes to the environment and started looking around.

There are some persons surrounding her, they were all uniformly wearing black robes that cover completely the body, from head to toe, because of that she couldn't discover if they were men or women, and nothing about their face features.
The robes were only leaving their eyes visible, those seemed more deep and bright probably by the dark clothes surrounding them.

There was a person, standing in the middle of the room, surrounded by all the others placed on a circle formation.
He or she... was illuminated by a strange light.
She didn't know if it was a lantern or a lamp on the roof, but it was very bright.
And Rina couldn't help but to think to herself as she looked at the figure in a daze.

    -- ...the Grim Reaper.

Since I wasn't a Saint, I decided to become a cook at the Royal Palace!

Chapter 03: Baptism in another world.

"How much time has passed since then?"
Where am I now? And how have I gotten here?"

By the time Rina noticed, she was in a room somewhere.

It is possible that someone had brought her here, but there was no way for Rina to know because after she began to cry suddenly lost conscience.

How much time had passed, Rina was wondering.
She woke up on a large bed so decided to stand up and walk while looking around forlornly, at the end decided to sit over a large sofa that was placed near the bed.

"This room looks like where a nobleman might live."

That's the impression she got from looking at it.

A young lady's bedroom in a pretty nice place.
It's pretty poorly worded, I suppose, but there's no way to explain it... I've never seen something like this before!

The room of a noblewoman in medieval Europe, maybe?
It is glittery, but not vulgar, and has a calming atmosphere with a sense of elegance.

She didn't know if the person who chose the sofa, table, and curtains had a good idea of what they were doing, or if they matched Rina's needs, but for some reason the room was somehow relaxing.

...On the small table in front of her, there was a basket with fruit.
